summary:
the offsets;when the image is displaced vertically or horizontally, are when i have deleted lines or parts of lines of code. where there is a bar of complete static, this is wher i have tried to insert another file into it to get a glitch merge. this effect is easily gotten in photoshop, but i would have liked for it to happen with code and be surprised byanomalies.
the colouring, it seems is dependent on where you stop your deletion of information.similar to when you look closeley at your tv screen, red-green-blue bars are visible, here, because they work together to create an accurate image, the deletion brings a colour to the fore.
i took this file, already partially deleted and deleted aother part of the file.
i then opened it in photoshop, where the below was what opened:
photoshop automatically tries to CORRect a CORRupted file, thus causing code repeat GLITCH.

i took SEQUENTIAL screen shots from it uising AVS
i then swapped lines oc code between them using Diffuse http://diffuse.sourceforge.net/
there ae some mixing of the two files, and in some cases i inserted the file into ITSELF to ge a duplication of part of the file:-
the short black kid’s eyes.
upper casing the code-text in the .3gp http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/3GP
makes there appear a cubist pattern
then, the subsequent movement in the video file (tpanning,zooming etc.) makes the pattern morph in the
diection of movement;presumeably in accordance with the parts of the image that are recognised within the movement
nice effect.
